We ordered the Nashville Hot strips with the fried pickles as a side. The ladies working the area were very nice, and it didn’t take long to get the order. We waited a few mins for the food, which tells me it was fresh! I am perfectly fine with that. Good taste, would go back again.
One of the best places to get food while you're at the casino. Also it's one of the few places that is actually real and decent quality food.
If you are at Choctaw Casino & Resort – Durant, you absolutely have to try South Hot Chicken.
I ate here last week and had some of the best chicken I have ever had in my life. My wife and kids have actually been eating here for months and have been telling me it’s the best chicken in the United States, so they finally convinced me to try it.
I came back again this weekend just to make sure it wasn’t a fluke… and it definitely wasn’t. Another wow moment.

South Hot Chicken in Choctaw Casino is a tiny restaurant that many say is freaking awesome. The hand breaded and spiced chicken is so fresh and so good every time. Many say the 8/pc mild with the homemade ranch and the Nashville Hot dipping sauce. The sandwich combo, medium chicken and the chicken and fries are juicy, hot and spicy. Service can be extra friendly and make suggestions, but sometimes the guy running the counter just stares and mumbles until asked. The staff often goes above and beyond, offering a cookie to go with the order. Food is ready very quick and very fresh, and the speed impresses. Many choose this over other options and will come back.
