“If you are at Choctaw Casino & Resort – Durant, you absolutely have to try South Hot Chicken.
I ate here last week and had some of the best chicken I have ever had in my life. My wife and kids have actually been eating here for months and have been telling me it’s the best chicken in the United States, so they finally convinced me to try it.
I came back again this weekend just to make sure it wasn’t a fluke… and it definitely wasn’t. Another wow moment.
A special thank-you to Miss Patricia for making the visit awesome. She helped me pick the perfect sauce, gave great recommendations, and provided outstanding customer service. Honestly, Miss Patricia is the personification of what Choctaw expects from their employees—professional, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. She represents the Choctaw standard perfectly. If I could give her a raise myself, I would.
The chicken is incredible, the service is great, and the experience was excellent both times. I will absolutely keep coming back.

“Went and got a bucket of chicken , potatoes and gravy , macaroni and chicken nuggets . All was good however the nuggets were too tough and seemed over cooked . The staff at the window was very kind and professional. Everything was fine except the nuggets .“

“This review is driven by ONE THING I witnessed while waiting almost 25 minutes on a Saturday to order a meal. I had time to people watch. I was observing a young man bust his butt off taking care of the dining area/lobby!!! I watched parties of 10 (with kids) get up from the table and leave a mess that a tornado looked to have left. Without a sour look, without hesitation, without complaint…that young man worked like he owned the place and took pride in it. Most people making hourly wages work like, “ Don’t rush me I get paid by the hour!” Not him! He was practically running, cleaning, wiping, moving chairs into place, sweeping up. He has an excellent work ethic for his age. He needs to be in management or a position more suited for him. Maybe behind the counter assisting guests. I had enough time to ask him his name so I could leave this review. I challenge you to check the cameras around 1:00 a.m. Sunday before Memorial Day so you can get an understanding about what I’m talking about. His name is Reagan. Reagan needs to be recognized. He deserves this five star review.
