“We haven't eaten at Applebee's in quite some time, perhaps 2-3 years, and when we had to take the car for service, decided we would give it a try.
I was surprised by how enormous the menu is. It's rather hard to decide because there's so many offerings, but the O M Cheeseadilla burger looked pretty amazing! It looked so good, that both of us ordered it.
Bonus was that it was on the 2/$25 so we got an appetizer too! A person can't go wrong with buffalo wings!!
My plate was sizzling, audibly sizzling, when it came to the table. I had told the waiter as a joke that I wanted mine to come to the table exactly like the one on the menu. He 💯 made that happen!
It was such a pleasant change to have chips with queso instead of French fries. That was an nice touch by whomever created this dish. It would be a nice option to add as a side, period!
The burger was delicious, I couldn't wait for lunch the next day to eat leftovers.
I did feel like the restaurant overall was a little dark, maybe a little dated. It didn't change the good service we received or the great food we ate.
The table was sticky when we sat down, so maybe send someone out there to do a full wash down of the table tops between diners.“
