It's our favorite donut shop in town. We love to be waiting early before they open at 11 so we don't have to wait in line so long when everyone is trying to get dunots.

I absolutely Love This Doughnut Shop. I have moved from northern Mississippi to Durant oklahoma and often travel back to Mississippi to visit family, and I have stopped for Doughnuts at different shops all along the way everytime I travel back and forth. These doughnuts are the best I've ever had!
These are some of the best things I love about this shop. It looks likes you are walking into your relatives house that was made into a shop, that they open at 11 pm (in a college town, that's awesome) so that when you have that late night sweet tooth, a warm Doughnut absolutely hits the spot better than in the mornings. They even have a microwave for customer use so you can reheat coffee or other if it's not warm enough to your liking. All of these, make this shop stand out in and set apart, in my opinion. And in the morning, you walk in and see many seniors drinking coffee at the tables enjoying conversation with one another, it reminds me of when I was a child and you had more love and care for one another.
And to wrap it up, These doughnuts are so cheap, a dozen doughnuts are around 6$ I believe. Their Pigs in a Blanket are the best too! They are smaller, but I do not care, the flavor is superior to others, good meat ratio to the house made dough for the pigs. I will sometimes just grab about half a dozen of those for dinner sometimes, they are great with BBQ and mustard to dip.
I would gladly pay more for these doughnuts, if ever in need to stay in buisnesses. I do know the place is a tad small and do wish that they could expand only because they run out of doughnuts sometimes around 8a.m.
I do realize that they might comprimise quality or charm in doing so, or they are content with what the buisnesses is doing currently. So understandable. So I'll just enjoy the shop for how the owner has made it, and I'll wake up or stay up to enjoy the little things in life, like this treat in this town.

Best donuts around, period. Inexpensive, and open all night. The chocolate glazed honeybun is a must-try.

Went my first time the other day. Chick was rude like "what else" all flat and demanding over and over as I selected. Went back a 2nd day. Heck return customer. She was even more brusk than the day before. Their apple fritter looked like nothing I've seen, so I didn't order that. Probably won't go back just because the poor customer service. Made me wonder what she hated more...her life or her job... because she seemed to be hating something. Rude.

shell of its former self, if they even have food its dried out any hour of the night, the college staff they have is the slowest and pretty unhygenic (dude literally made me a whole dozen with no gloves). I used to seriously like this place, the only good thing about it is the price, and the donuts still aren't that bad. I'm sure there's a reason its like this but as it stands... ehhh... probably need a new 2am donut spot here in town.

Let's face it. We don't go to Dandy for the Atmosphere. We go there knowing that it's cash only and we do so gladly because they make a good donut and sell it at a great price. They don't have the greatest selection and they run out of product before closing time but there's a good reason for them running out. They are a good company ran by good people with good intentions and a neighborly way about them. I've made the mistake of trying other places and will keep looking for a maple bacon done by someone other than Munchies but for the classics, you can't beat Dandy.
