They offer a wide variety of food options, the staff is very friendly, and the ambiance is pleasant. My dog also seemed to enjoy the experience.

The food is really good & the portions are very large but when I order to go I always ask for avocados and 9/10 I don’t get them.

I would say you get your moneys worth, but that would be a false statement.
Why?
Because you don’t get everything that should’ve been included in your meal as described in their menu, such as rice or guacamole or sour cream or tortillas. There’s always something missing from your meal that should have been included. So if you get a carryout order and you go back for the stuff that was supposed to be on the plate, they charge you for it all again.
One meal for just myself cost me $63 because they didn’t include everything that was supposed to be with the meal as it was described in the menu and then I had to pay for those items upon return.
Also, the food is subpar in my opinion. There are much better places in town to eat at if you’re wanting Mexican food.
It’s expensive to go out to eat nowadays so when you do, you deserve to get your money’s worth and enjoy the experience.

My family and I absolutely love this place. The food is amazing, the people are wonderful. We love Leyder, (I hope I spelled that correctly), he treats us like family every time we go! The atmosphere is wonderful and happy! Just an all around great place to go!

We were visiting from out of state. Looking for somewhere to eat and saw this place. Decided to give it a shot, and we're we glad we did. We ordered a specialty burrito from the lunch menu, along with a couple of beers. The food was delicious! The beer was cold! Our server was great!
Definitely recommend. Wish we lived in this area.

This place is awesome. Great art work. Great food. Great service. It’s a place that takes pride in their craft. My family and I enjoyed it very much. Food was great had street tacos grande burritos for the kids and the molcajete and some chile sauce for the tacos. Food was the best in town by far. Service was top notch as well. Servers came by and refilled our chips salsa and drinks 3 times and kept coming to make sure everything was great. Can not recommend enough. This is our new favorite place for Mexican food. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Try it out it’s real good and authentic. Salsa could have more bite but probably made for the areas pallet. The chile was like goldie locks just right. Thank you El Kanelos, we will be back.

It was my first time going to this place. It's definitely hidden from the world. But it's got to be my favorite Mexican restaurant that I've been to in a while. The chips and salsa and queso are magical. And you can't go wrong with a steak shrimp alvicodo burrito. Looked like a few dudes running the whole place at the time I went. They kept the drinks full, and they didn't over check on us while doing it. Doesn't get much better than that
