Really tasty sushi and very convenient. The sushi is much better than the poke bowls in my opinion, but that’s mostly just because the poke bowls come with iceberg lettuce instead of spring mix— that’s probably just me being pedantic but the iceberg lettuce throws the entire vibe off. As a texture thing, I also don’t personally prefer the crab salad as an alternative to the sticks of imitation crab found in several of the spicy rolls, but I know there are people who way...
The rolls are good, a bit unusual in my experience but the flavors fit the area I think. The pricing is definitely at the height of the spectrum at 15.00 each for anything but a basic california roll, but the quality is great. Fish is super fresh and if you catch the guys there while they are making them then you can have one custom made to your liking.
Date night is no longer an hour and a half away, but just down the street. We go at least once a week, always welcoming, great quality, made fresh with fresh ingredients, clean, and quick. Better than a lot of sushi joints in the dfw and the okc area.
