I stopped by this spot and was immediately met with friendly people and good service. One of the dessert pieces we tried tasted great—fresh, balanced, and exactly what you’d hope for.
Then I tried mine.
The flavor was noticeably off, and the smell didn’t seem right either. At first, I wondered if it was just the type of chocolate paired with the cream cheese. But then I noticed it: a small green fuzzy spot sitting right on top of the piece, as visible as a cherry.
That was the moment everything clicked. I immediately sat up, reached for napkins, and discreetly spit out what I could. After that, I couldn’t bring myself to take another bite of anything. I didn’t address it with the employees—at that point, I didn’t want a replacement, and I wasn’t expecting a refund. I simply left.
To be fair, I truly believe this was pure oversight, and it’s worth mentioning that the staff were kind throughout my visit. I still encourage people to check the place out—family businesses deserve support, and I genuinely root for them. But food safety is non-negotiable, and this was an unfortunate slip that’s hard to ignore.
The price is a little steep but this could be because there’s not another bakery around? I’m not familiar with Durant

Stopped in today for some milk tea bobas and sweet treats for my girls. Everything was delicious, the staff is amazing and it is such a cute place. Highly recommend and we will definitely be stopping by again 😊
Order a double cake birthday cake for adult birthday. Ask for very elegant cake. Paid almost $100. Picked up a mallet size sheet cake that I could have made at home. Very disappointing considering price. Have gotten prettier and cheaper cakes from Walmart. The writing on it was horrible. Definitely not elegant. Will never make this mistake again

Stopped by today to get the gears rolling for my little one who had a paper to write about bakeries. The owner spent some time chatting with us about diff aspects of having a bakery and you could truly see how much he loves this business. He was super kind and helpful. And the cookies and Oreo balls were amazing!! Especially the lemon cookie! Would definitely recommend anyone to stop in and try some goodies. There's a little bit for everyone. Thanks so much for the great experience!

Oh my! Too much to list. Everything is fresh and wonderful!!! The new owners took over August the first and I have been 4 times already in just a week! My husband and I go get something cold to drink and try out a different desert every time. The new owners are very nice and take really good care of their customers. Service with a smile! Definitely a family atmosphere! We will continue to go several days a week, can’t wait to see the deserts for the holidays!
