“The food was decent, but I opted for a healthier choice at a spot known for indulgent dishes. Perhaps I should have gone for the "heart attack on a plate" for a more satisfying experience. Forget about ordering a spinach and egg white omelet here! You'll be eyeing those gravy-covered plates and thinking about spooning it over your sliced oranges and dry wheat toast instead. I'm awarding them five stars simply because I considered pouring gravy over orange slices.Kid-friendliness: Everyone in the restaurant remained unfazed when my two-year-old grandson made a scene about wanting gravy on his pancakes. There's something shady going on in that gravy!“
“I'm never disappointed when I go to the Metro. I've tried a variety of meals. The Turkey dinner is excellent. I always enjoy the double decker BLT. The bacon is meaty and crisp. I stop in often. Menu has a lot of items. Can eat breakfast, lunch or dinner anytime.“
“It was my first time in, and I was very impressed with the wide variety of breakfast menu items. There were so many I had a hard time choosing. The service was excellent, and my server, Skylar, treated us like family. Then there was the food. It was great, both plates. It was so good we got pie to go just to see how good it was. I would highly recommend Sunnyside Diner for breakfast, and I will be going back to try lunch.“
“Its a college cafeteria. Reminds me of a mess hall in the Army. Not to say the food is bad but it's not a restaurant where you can order specific items. The food is good. The quality is good. Open seating which for someone with PTSD/anxiety isn't great. Any of the tables I like where I can have my back to the wall or out of the way were already taken. Had to place my phone like mirror to see behind me. Overall, a good place.“
