Came in at 7:58pm. Was told they stopped serving wine. Had a party of 8. The young man was nice. Said the owner left and they were the only one that could serve. Not a good look to have a wine and coffee bar and not serve one or the other. Really nice place. Like the atmosphere. Really disappointed in the experience.

Had the Date Night special, two glasses of wine and dessert. The crème brûlée cheesecake was incredible.
I really like this place. The atmosphere is chill and relaxing. However, they sacrifice conventional seating to create that vibe so you would be able to comfortably seat a party of 5+. But not a big deal imo. One other thing is that the menu 'feels' limited. I emphasize feel because I've only been here for breakfast or just coffee so I can't speak on all hours of the day. But, with what I've seen not a lot that made me deviate from what I usually order. Overall tho this place is a nice chill vibe if you're the type to do some work at a coffee shop, Ellis Island is PERFECT for that. The coffee is good, I will have to visit sometime for the wine. But definitely recommend at least checking this place out.

The 2 girls working had more time to talk and drink their own coffee vs making mine. Waited 10 min for 1 coffee amd they were not busy. Decent coffee bad service.
