Food was tasty. Hubby had the hickory burger and enjoyed it. I had the French dip...a few slices of beef on a large French roll with au jus. It really could have used some grilled onions or mushrooms or even some provolone...next time I will know. Our waitress was not very cordial..she wasn't rude, but didn't say hi or how are you..didn't ask how our lunch was. She did refill my soda once...but just picked it up and walked away, not a word. French toast was so good! We’ve been here several times and really enjoyed it. It’s usually fairly quiet, but this visit there was a group of 20 ladies and they were pretty loud with their laughter and talking. With the concrete floor and high ceiling, their party echoed thru the cafe. After they left it was much quieter. The food and service was 5-star! We will be back soon!
Upon entering, we were immediately greeted. Our server was nice and tentive throughout our service.
I got the heap omelette. It was good. Lots of feeling. The potatoes had flavor to them and we're also good. I got the biscuit and gravy on the side. That's definitely a hard pass. Not homemade. Omelette was good, pancakes were fluffy. Good place for basic breakfast.
