The menu here is always great and the burgers are oh so good with that shredded cheese on top. The last two times I have gone, the food has been a bit tepid but that's not typical. The restaurants are usually on the cold side, so bring a hoodie if you are easily chilled.
I heard good things about Johnnie's so I gave it a try about two months ago. I got the Theta Burger with onion rings. The burger was quality and tasty, but I did not like the Johnnie's sauce. It's like putting spaghetti sauce on a cheeseburger, and they put a lot on. It was not my thing. However, I've been back two times since and got cheeseburgers without that sauce and liked them. Maybe if there was only a little sauce it would add to the experience, but...
Used to love Johnnie's, but the food has gone down in quality or maybe the competition has just out paced them. Service has definitely went in the wrong direction, just put in a kiosk like McDonald's and other places. Your staff doesn't care if people.are there or not, sometimes they just flat out ignore you for conversation with other staff.
