I had the steak salad. The steak was delicious but the lettuce was old. Wilted and had an old taste like it was left out from the night before. So basically ruined the steak salad. My husband had the chicken fried steak and he said it was fine but nothing to brag about except the price was excellent and our server was very good. We travel through here twice a year and not sure I would stop again.
Food was fabulous. The waiter was too busy with too many other people. He did not come back with the order fast. He forgot our biscuits and he forgot the whole table that was next to us for 25 minutes. Everybody else around us was served except us so Sevice was not that good but everything else works.
Food was decent. Slightly better the your average diner. The restaurant is filled with route 66 memorabilia making it a great stop. The service was absolutely amazing. Definitely worth a stop.
