I have eaten at Captain Johns in the past and it was fine. This week a colleague and myself ate there during lunch. It wasn't busy at all but the service was slow and non attentive. Food was overpriced and wasn't very good. I would rate this experience a 5 out of 10. I seriously doubt if I will go back. I found it to be overpriced for a crispy chicken salad that I had to separate half of it because it was brown. Chicken had no flavor.
Came here with family on Saturday 3/22 and everyone loved their food! Also so fun to have the boat parking can’t wait to visit more during the summer!
Great food with good portions and pices. The best service anyone could ask for. Location and atmosphere are just as impressive.

I went here two nights in a row because of the catfish and ultimately the small town atmosphere that is translated into such Humble service
Make sure you call ahead just in case they might be busy, but if you’re lucky enough to just walk in and they sit you down, buckle up for a sweet treat
Between the menu options and the vast choices when it comes to drinks, I think you’ll find you’ll want to come back as well
I had the catfish two nights in a row and I think I’d have it a third night in a row if I was still in town!
Kid-friendliness: I brought my two-year-old son in and all of the staff was extremely friendly and even offered to bring my child’s plate out before our plate so that he could stay calm
Wheelchair accessibility: They have two ramps that lead up to the top level and once you’re at the top level, there’s no other inaccessible areas for you

The wait staff is very helpful, friendly and ready to ensure that your dining experience is enjoyable
Vegetarian options: It is a seafood restaurant. While there are options, I wouldn't understand why a vegetarian would make this go to place to visit.
Parking: There are two restaurants and another is planned. One in Eufaula and one in McAllister. Not sure where the next one will be.
Kid-friendliness: My granddaughters (ages 2 to 8) had a lot of fun.
Of all the times I have been there, I have never noticed any children being roudy or obnoxious.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp available.

Newbee to captain John's and I loved everything! Our host was quick to get our seats, waitresses were so sweet and prompt, and hands down to bartender, my Pina colada was soooo good! I had crab cakes appetizer grilled chicken dinner and both cooked to perfection! Dinner rolls were sooo delish I could have just ate those n be happy! Thank you everyone for my first experience there, I will be back!!!
Wheelchair accessibility: Definitely capable bc it's only ramps to get in...no stairs

Me and my mom came in shortly before they closed since we didn’t realize they closed at 8 on Sundays. Even so everyone there was so friendly and the food was amazing, our server Emma was fantastic! Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a nice place to sit down and eat some delicious food. They even had out door igloos that me and my mom are hoping to try next time we go back!

Usually great but this last visit was awful all the way around. The ribeye steak was THE worst I've ever had. A full 1/3rd of it was raw and inedible. The small portion that was left over was ok. I love red beans and rice but these tasted like they were from a can and flavorless. My date told me I would live the cornbread but it was just meh.... And the service was horrible. They didn't ever clear the table even in part. We had to stack a few dishes so that there was enough room to fill out the ticket for the completely over generous tip. I should have stuck with the seafood which was excellent on my visit before. Just really turned off about this business now.
