Captain John’s is hands down my local favorite restaurant. I eat here multiple times a week and can honestly say I’ve never had a bad experience and never had a bad meal.
The servers here are some of the best in Oklahoma — an incredible staff that genuinely cares and checks on you every time you walk through the door. The atmosphere is always welcoming, positive, and uplifting, and they’re consistently open and dependable, which matters more than people realize.
Captain John’s is a big part of what makes Eufaula such a great place — consistent, reliable, and continuing to grow while doing things the right way. I’m very thankful for this place and make it a point to bring every guest who comes to the lake here on their first trip… and without fail, they all return.
If you’re visiting Lake Eufaula or live here and haven’t made Captain John’s a regular stop yet, you’re missing out. A true staple of the community. 🍽️👏

First time here. Our car club cruised an hour and a half to the restaurant. Food did not disappoint. Had the Cajun Seafood Boil. Ample portions. Beautiful view of Lake Eufaula. Our server eas Jordan T. She was very upbeat, smiling and a great personality. Loved her. Will definitely be back.

Great place at the lake with a fantastic view. Staff are friendly and attentive. Food is on point and not to miss. They get seafood right. We came on Christmas Eve, and it was perfect for the whole family. The restaurant has a great ambience, with great decorations and plenty of TVs to watch the games on.

Super Snarky waitress and bar tender, both had attitude problems waitress was a tall brunette pretty bad attitude. Bar tender while making our drinks at 12-14 a pop then tells a couple of her friends that their drinks are free. Are our drinks free again asked a large tall blonde the bartender nods in agreement. The bartender was young blonde and pregnant wearing overalls. Great food horrible staff

Was passing through and stopped in as wanted to check out the lake. Did not know you could get seafood that food in Oklahoma. Some of the best I've ever had and very reasonably priced. Great atmosphere and server was great too.
We were told by a local to try this restaurant. We drove from Stilwell Oklahoma. It did not disappoint. I had the red beans & rice. Excellent 👍 my friend said her fries were the best. Staff was friendly and attentive. We will return in season for sure. Beautiful views of the water. We enjoyed watching the seagulls and pigeons.
