Dawns Place Cafe on Texanna

We visited here around 4pm today. Everytime I have been the food is spot on. I think their chicken fried steak is as good as they come. I have never had anything bad there. The service is usually great however today I was quite disappointed. Our waitress acted like it was a huge burden to wait on us. She was very rude the 2 times she came to our table. She was very rude to my grandmother who was trying to ask a question and the waitress said " sorry I was answering other questions" very very rudely. Once she brought our food out she never came back to our table to see if we needed anything. I understand we all have bad days but I was very disappointed in the way she spoke and her body language towards us. Despite that the food was excellent. We will be back.

I mean my salad was loaded...
Sliced turkey,boiled eggs, bacon, cheese, 🥬,🍅, red Onion, etc.. with grilled chicken... The Cobb salad forget the name of it ...👍🏽🚀💪🏽💪🏽

Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. The shrimp, the fried fish, the grilled chicken, the Southwest Salad, the waffles were all exceptional! Great job Dawn!

Excellent breakfast outstanding biscuits

This place is awesome every time we go whether it’s breakfast lunch or dinner! Staff is always friendly no matter how busy they get with large portions for a great price! I appreciate they post their daily specials to remind us. Sometimes I wish it were bigger so we could frequent it more with a crowd, but afraid that would ruin it(I also wish the other places east down Texanna could take notes from Dawn’s too). Thanks for always posting your specials on facebook too! Keep up the awesome work!

First time in there just moved to the area the food was amazing also the Waite staff was very friendly made u feel like u was at home. The prices was even better I loved the texanna burger..
