First time here. There was no wait. And the food was hot and delicious with large portions. Service was slow but they were fairly busy on a Friday night. Overall we liked it and will come back. Had the all you can eat catfish which came with 2 sides and 3 large planks of fish. Left very full without ordering any more fish. Husband and sister had a huge chicken fried steak meal each and the kids macaroni was a hit with my 5 year old niece. Prices were very reasonable for the food we got.

I just found out today that this restaurants upper management has implemented new rules.
-the wait staff is not allowed to serve anyone more than two alcoholic drinks a day. It does not matter if you have a DD it is not a safety issue.
-additionally if you have a dog, even a service dog, but are not specifically “blind”. You will no longer be allowed to bring the dog in.
I will never eat there again, or anywhere that infringes on my rights and those of Americans with disabilities.
Please do not blame the employees, I’m fairly confident the latter is illegal, but I am not a lawyer if I was I would be waiting outside for the first time this policy is implemented.

So this is a tough review. The people were awesome, the atmosphere, for what it is was great. BUT, The steak I ordered was about 30 bucks. Ordered medium another couple guys did the same. We all got well done ribeye and the 1 guy that ordered the sirloin had a perfect steak. Some grumpiness was going on about the chicken fry and various other foods. We were a large table so I didn't feel it was complaint worthy, I did eat it, and did get full. However, I would say the grill or kitchen still needs some work. Wouldn't rule it out, but at 30 bucks for a steak in a rural area. I do expect it to be better.

Dobber's has always been a great place to eat but the new building has improved the atmosphere tremendously. Great burgers, catfish and steaks for anyone at anytime! I highly recommend it if you are in that area!
Flat iron steak was tender and cooked perfect large baked potato was a great side. Sweet tea and salad finished off the meal with pecan bread pudding.

The order a hamburger steak the meat was not that big and over cooked couldn’t cut it with a fork the rest was good wil not get the hamburger steak again

Food was good, service was terrible. Birthday dinner ruined. Had to go looking for a waitresses,drinks weren't taken til 20 minutes after we were sat. Other tables were taken care even though they came in after us. Honestly disappointed.

First all my knife was dirty then two of us ordered well done steaks they both came out bloody my daughter sent hers back and it still came out pretty red when it came back out. They have no salt shakers and I said something to the guy when I was checking out he told me that they did in the back you know they need to serve the handicap too and they don't at least they don't make accommodations fo

We are from Wisconsin. Last year, while traveling for business, my wife and I just happened upon Dobber's Roadhouse. We totally enjoyed their food and roadhouse experience. This year, my youngest and I are traveling for business. However, we purposed to have dinner at Dobber's Roadhouse. Again, we were not disappointed. Their food and service remained excellent. I would certainly recommend them if you enjoy great food and family style experience. Be well, Phil
