My wife and I wanted some BBQ on our way to the lake so we stopped here and it was great. The food was excellent I got the burnt ends and chicken my wife got brisket and turkey. The corn bread is a must get! The owner came around and talked to us, she gave me a dessert when she found out it was my birthday. This is a must stop if you like BBQ. Not a big parking lot.

Driving through on our way to Santa Fe. Did a map quest search and found this place. A tad off the path I40. But wowsers!! So very much worth the trip. I had the most tender and moist ribs...amazing. Plus the onions rings are to die for. My daughter and grandson had the brisket and by far, some of the best ever. They loved the Mac and cheese. My granddaughter had the smoked chicken breast. I honestly can not praise this enough. The taste was delicious. I hate BBQ chicken...BUT..this smoked chicken was so tender so flavor packed. WE LOVE YOU GUYS....MOVE TO LOUISVILLE...PLEASE

First of all... Fried deviled eggs and fried mushrooms as regular side choices?! Yes please.Portion size was great. Plenty of food.Service was spot on and the young lady was so sweet and eager to please.I got a 2-meat combo with ribs, sliced brisket, and sides were fried mushrooms and fried deviled eggs.Flavor was great with everything. Meats were probably a 7 out of 10. Ribs fell off the bone and both meats seemed...watery? Maybe the way they have to keep them fresh with a small facility in a small town without heavy traffic?I still give them a 5 star rating and they are worth a visit.

Hubby picked up some BBQ to go. The burnt ends were awesome but scarce, the best part of the meal. I could have eaten twice the amount. I think there were 5 -6 pieces. Asked for 1/2lb of smoked chicken, it was dry and over seasoned with very little if any smoke flavor. Ordered the cornbread. It was normal sweet cornbread, nothing special and a very small piece. The appetizers were scarce, maybe 5 fried mushrooms, a handful of fried green beans, and 3 jalapeño poppers. The fried deviled eggs were ok but only 3 halves. I'm highly disappointed at the amount we paid for very little food. Feed your people what they pay for please!!
