Great dining experience!Food, service and experience was outstanding!Highly recommend the generous portion of Alligator tails & calf fries! Each perfectly prepared! My husband have ate many places. This rises to the top in our travels.Definitely stop in again.Family home in between Arkansas & N. Texas...half way marker for us.Nice job Katt Daddy!Look forward in sitting on patio in warmer months.
The food was good. They have a nice variety of dishes at reasonable prices. The service was great. We enjoyed our visit and will definitely return.
Fantastic food... service & atmosphere!
It was very cool how the restaurant is on the lake. If you have a boat your are able to dock it and walk up to the restaurant.our server was very nice and good about asking if we needed anything. The music is playing and your eating food while watching the boats come n go and a breeze (if there is one) blowing through your hair. The food was delicious, the price was affordable for a restaurant right on the lake and the kids enjoyed looking at everything. They do have a kids menu on the paper that they are given to color on ,just in case you order an 11 dollar meal for two kids who ate a couple of bites and decided they were full also, they even got to toss over some fries to the ducks!Well worth it. I'll definitely be back it was a good stop.(Sorry would have have taken more pictures but i have 4 kids and wasn't able to take as much as I would have liked)
We dined outside and enjoyed the casual Lake atmosphere. The drinks from the bar were awesome! The catfish dinner was very good with generous portions. The tatar sauce was home made and was excellent. Will go back for sure!
Visited Katt Daddy's Cove for lunch on the Friday of Labor Day Weekend. If the weather is cooperative, the deck is the place to eat. It was perfect this day -- temp in the mid-80s with a light breeze ... not enough to blow your napkins around but enough to keep the air from being still. The special was the chicken fried steak dinner, which was what I came for, so bonus for me! The chicken fry was tender, not gristly, and had good flavor. I chose fries and corn for my sides. The fresh cut fries were great, but the corn ... meh. The meal also comes with Texas Toast ... unfortunately it tasted like cleaning solution. I would go back and I would eat the chicken fry again, but I'd choose something besides corn and skip the Texas toast. Since I went for the chicken fry and it was really good and the ambience was nice, I'll give it a 4.
Big shout out to Amy. She is awsome!!!! Will continue to visit as long as Amy is there. My brother in law loves your sweet water
The service was terrible. We waited over 20 mins before someone even came and took our drink orders. And it was only after I flagged down another waitress who had been past us about 7 or 8 times to get to another table. Once our waitress finally did show up she seemed very aggravated every time we asked for something. The appetizers that came out were really good, but When we got the rest of our food it was AWFUL! We even had a hard time paying because our waitress brought our check and then disappeared again. She passed by our table 4 times before I caught her to take our payment. Terrible dining experience. Would not recommend.
Food was good, location was great, deck seating is the best we found and the asst. manager was amazing, very friendly and customer aware. We actually went back again the next day because of her! 2nd day we visited the Katt Daddy bar next door and it needs some updates for sure, pool table in rough shape and windows needed a good cleaning but again staff on that side was great as well!
Food was good, but we got there at noon for lunch. There was one other table sitting and it was the slowest service ever. Like 20 minutes to get drink orders, another 10 to take food orders. Then we proceeded to wait 35 more minutes for our food. You'd think being on the lake right at noon it would be better especially because no other customers were there. Now I know why it was empty.

We had a blast here! Bartender was awesome she knows how to make them drinks! Very friendly and respectful people all around... will be back!
Pretty chill dive bar. Fairly active. All american burger was good. Fries were awesome. Beer selection was really the same thing you see anywhere else... at least they had Coors Light!
I’ve been here 3 times and the food is always good, staff is good but the drinks are terrible: I always have to ask for vodka in a vodka /cranberry or tequila in a margarita. Don’t order at your table or you won’t get it. You have to go in the bar and watch her add alcohol to your drink. Others around me agreed also. Patio is nice and kid friendly.
Tried this place a couple years ago and had to wait over an hour after ordering to get our food. We had 7 in our group, and it was busy, so we just blew it off as a bad experience. Today, it wasn’t crowded at all, and again, waited over an hour for our food. Thankfully, we ordered an appetizer and got that fairly quick (although the table next to us, who got there after us, received free appetizers for their wait. We paid for ours.) The food is good but it’s not worth the long wait. Service was decent, not great.
March 1, 2020 Came to eat lunch by the lake. Only 3 tables had customers. Food was above average.. service slow and the server messed up our check. Had to wait for her to get our check for 12 minutes while she chatted with the manager and co workers. Not sure what they will when they get busy.. Guess we will go for pizza at the Beaver Bar...
