We just had lunch and as of today, it's my favorite in the area. We had the lunch enchilada and taco and all the food was great. We had the spicy salsa and the flavor was very good. The wait staff was excellent.
Stopped while traveling through. Enchiladas and rellenos were delicious. Mexican rice was also very good (I'm picky/can be hard to please re the rice). Chips and salsa were ok.

Love Maverick's food and friendliness. $1.25 Taco Tuesday is worth the drive, but I love their Carnitas! The owner is very cordial and will tell you the stories of how Maverick's started if he isn't busy.
