Waited 15 minutes to be seated and was never even acknowledged. Took my family's business across the street where we were welcomed immediately.

Great reuben. Shiner on draft & games on TV. Enjoyed talking to the bartender from CA.

We’re visiting from Texas and ended up trying Tavern Number Nine twice during our stay. Our first visit was okay overall, but there were a few things that made us hesitant from the start. When we called in our order, we were told it would take only about seven minutes to make four entrées, which already felt a little too fast. Sure enough, when we arrived about ten minutes later, everything was already bagged up and waiting.
The food from that first visit was just average. The wings had a burnt exterior, which was surprising considering how quickly they were supposedly cooked, but my wife still enjoyed them so we didn’t think too much of it. The sweet potato waffle fries, on the other hand, were more chewy than crispy, which wasn’t what we expected. On our second visit we switched to regular fries, which were better.
The main issue, and the reason I’m writing this review, is that during our second visit, one of the chicken wings was raw on the inside. My wife took a bite before realizing it, and now we’re left worried about the possibility of foodborne illness. She’s had wings from probably 50 different places over the years, and neither of us has ever experienced something like this. It’s especially concerning because she was eating while watching our son.
Customer service hasn’t been great either. Mainly over the phone, the staff sound like they’d rather not be there, and in person there really isn’t a big difference in tone but you are at least ackowledged.
To be fair, the burger we got was actually decent, the bun especially helped carry it, and while the prices felt a bit high for such a small town, I assume that’s largly due to the location and operating costs, so I can understand that.
I wasn’t even planning on reviewing after the first experience since it was average and i didnt want to effect the overall rating, but receiving undercooked chicken on the second order is something I genuinely can’t overlook. It’s disappointing and unsafe, and I hope the kitchen takes more care moving forward.
Overall, it’s still probably the best choice for standard American food in the area, assuming everything cooked is safe.

Restaurantji Recommends
Ordered wings and the German bratwurst. The cook forgot about my wings so those came late. The food was decent. Prices are great. Didn’t get to explore the menu due to diet but their deep fried PB&J sounds amazing. I’d come back if visiting Eufala again

First time trying it and it was delicious!!! Food was served quick and service was great. We will be back
$7 for a draft beer is price gouging would not recommend this place.
7 dollars for a draft beer is robbery.
One star review. We tried to eat there and no one even brought us anything to drink or a menu. They saw us sitting at a table. I set a timer in my phone finally and gave them 5 more minutes - nothing. Will never go back.
