I had dinner with my wife and granddaughter, and we ordered three meals: carne asada, bean burritos with cheese sauce, and a special dish that included grilled chicken and vegetables. All the food was very good. They made a mistake with the burritos and served us beef instead, but once we brought this to their attention, they promptly corrected it, which we appreciated.
The margarita was served in a frosted goblet and was very refreshing. The chips and salsa were plentiful; the chips were thin and very fresh. The salsa was tasty, but it lacked spiciness and could have used more cilantro and onions to suit my taste.
The carne asada was cooked well and very tender but didn't seem to be seasoned or marinated, offering just a good beefy flavor. I personally prefer dishes with some seasoning or a flavorful marinade. Overall, I would recommend this place and would return if I'm in the area again.

Food came fast but why have 6 different salad on your menu and not carry dressing for those salads? Had I known I wouldvebordered something else.

The food always pretty good. The service was decent. The major complaint for me was the workers sitting at the back table was on speaker phone carrying on a very loud conversation and we were sat at the table next to them so we couldn't have a conversation at all while they were on the speaker phone for 20 minutes.

Being born/raised Cajun from southern Louisiana, I could always use more seasoning/spice in my life but La Isla is always very good and very fresh. Top notch service too

From out of town. Showed up with a group of people. Had a time crunch. The staff were great and the food was very good. Wish this place was located back in my area. I would return sooner !
