A restaurant on the highway closed on Hwy 40, so we searched other options. Jimbo's came up and it was a few miles from the highway in Gore, OK, so we tried it out. We like to find locally owned restaurants that serve home cooked style food. Our waitress Bobbi and cook, Rachel, were great. My husband and I got Chicken fried steak. You have to get off of the Interstate and check out this place. Rachel is a great cook and Bobbi is a great server. It was a late lunch and it wasn't busy. The chicken fried steak was delicious. Lightly breaded and probably cooked in a cast iron skillet. I had the mashed potatoes and gravy with toast. I could tell that it was probably skillet scratch made gravy. I would recommend you stop by and get some wonderful small town diner food.
