Waited for seating so we visited Jake the cockatoo while we was waiting. The place was empty and we visited Jake for 10 or so mins was never seated so we left.

Smoked meat should not be bloody! My brisket was not cooked and immediately felt sick. Told the waitress and she showed the owner…he proceeded to pick at it with his fingers but offered no apology or discount off the check!

Best lunch ever! Combined we had brisket, ribs, baked beans, Cole slaw, onion rings, fried okra, TX toast, and cold beer. Outstanding! Worth your time and travel.
The brisket was dry and did not have any taste to it. My husband had a steak that was not cooked correctly and then they gouge you on the price dollar for a little bit of cheese dollar for a little bit of bacon and a dollar for a little bit of butter and dollar for a little bit of, sour cream, which is ridiculous. Yes, they were very busy that day, but they really didn’t have any pride in their work

Pulled pork and smoked rope sausage is really good. Very juicy and flavorful. The brisket though is the worst I've ever had. It was dry, tough and no flavor.
