I personally don’t like a lot of fat, so this brisket was not my cup of tea at all. I asked for lean but did not get lean. Pretty gross. Didn’t care for the sides either.

Awesome BBQ joint, great service, and the food is top notch! The bread, oh goodness, freshly made bread brought back memories of Grandma's bread. Make sure you grab some dessert too! The cinnamon rolls and the Reese's brownies were amazing, and ginormous!

Loved everything about Blacktop BBQ. I had the chicken and brisket, with sides of mac n cheese and broccoli slaw. The meat was divine - very tender, with great smoke levels and flavor The brisket melted yet kept its succulent, peppery bark. As you'd expect, the white meat of the chicken was on the dry side, but the sauces are excellent. I absolutely loved that mac n cheese too, and I guess I need to eat broccoli. I tried my partner's beans and smoked sausage, and they were also terrific. An excellent find worth taking a detour off the highway.
Service was quick, and super friendly. The sign is easy to miss from the road - it's a small building next door to Liberty Fence supply.

Wow!!! If you want great barbecue for an even better price this is your place. Top tier meat with bottom tier meat. The Brisket melts in your mouth. Homemade sausage links are to die for. The Mac and cheese is perfect! Don't forget they have desert that would make your grandma jealous she can't make it!

Blacktop BBQ is one of the best BBQ joints around. It's a grab and go spot (or grab and eat at the outside tables), not a dine in restaurant. Everything is delicious -- and that's why they often sell out early! Brisket is phenomenal -- and if you like your brisket with a little fat, or a little less, let them know and they will cut accordingly. Ribs and chicken are amazing. They also grind their own sausage, and it is fantastic -- spicy, but not too spicy. The sides are great, too -- from the baked beans (these are not sweet baked beans) to the coleslaw to the Mac and cheese --all delicious. And be sure to save room for dessert! There's always something good, from the Lunch Lady Cinnamon rolls, to cobbler, to the candied bacon.
They have occasional items like their jambalaya -- check their socials for daily updates!

Very friendly people serving very good bbq. As another person wrote, they don't skimp on the meat on their sandwiches. I like how you can have a sweet as a side with your sandwich--great cinnamon roll. We also tried the ribs, sliced brisket and smoked chicken which we also liked. They also have jambalaya as a side dish.
