We were exploring the area and stopped for lunch recently on a Sunday afternoon. This is a very large venue that seems to be very popular for locals and events. We ordered their chicken (of course) and sides of fried okra and baked beans. Our fried okra was a bit over cooked but still edible. The beans were yummy as was the chicken! The chicken was freshly fried, crispy on the outside, moist and juicy on the inside.
The ambience is very casual and has a nice location across from a park which is under construction. Inside there are TVs and music under a kitschy decor.
The only negative were the restrooms. The door on one did not close without a strong couple of tugs. They're VERY rustic. While I understand the 'vibe' being created in the restaurant as a whole, a good, private restroom space is always a plus.

Wish there was more I could write, however on a Saturday night around 930pm when tables were basically empty, no one ever came to serve us or anything. A brief acknowledgement to sit anywhere, fast forward about 15-20min and no contact or anything, meanwhile servers standing around watching us leave. Overall atmosphere seemed cool, but I can see where some of the bad reviews are coming from if this is the standard. Maybe ill change this if I attempt to come back.

Super cool building and the Chicken Shack in Arcadia never disappoints but the food was less thab desirable in Harrah. It was all over cooked. The Mac and cheese looked like it had been setting out all day. Our food took over 30 minute to get and it was a burger and a whole bird. There was maybe 4 tables including ours. The whole bird had no seasoning and so dry and crispy (burnt). For $67 I expected better food. Dont waste your money.

The food is just as good as at the Arcadia and Luther locations, but it took every bit of 45 minutes for our food to come out. We arrived a 11:00am, and there was only one other table in the restaurant. Don’t go on your lunch break unless it’s long!!

We had my husband’s retirement party at the Lumber Shack. Everything went smooth. Food was wonderful. Thank you Aden and Ginger for making our event such a great experience.

We were there last Friday decided to change up what we usually have. Had the All-you can eat catfish.
Fish is small nuggets, outside of the nuggets were tough, fish was over cooked. We ate our 8 nuggets and didn’t want anymore, $16.95 was a little pricey.
Service was fair.

Food is really good but the service is REALLY slow... it took an hour to get our food and the place wasn't even busy. Our server was not attentive and was hardly ever seen.
