Owned and operated by a husband and wife. The husband waits the tables and jokes around with the customers, helps his wife in the kitchen, delivers the food and the bill, and takes the money. The wife does most of the cooking. They make their own bread and they see all kinds of baked goods. It is a great place to eat.
If you like a down-home atmosphere, good, old fashioned home cooking, and friendly owners, this is the place to go. After a difficult few months and giving this a lot of thought, for the first time ever, we ate thanksgiving dinner out. Needless to say, we did not know what to expect. Eleven family members converged on Maamaw B's Kitchen for thanksgiving dinner (yes, we had reservations).
