Finally made it there. The staff were so sweet and amazing!! Sweet tea hit the spot!! Fried Pickle spears are the best. Crisp and not greasy. Stuffed shrimp special was amazing!!! Again, staff were so sweet. Loved they educated my husband and I on the history of the car.
We just stopped and ate the Kenny's special. Ms Leslea was great. The food was great and plenty for 2 to share. I could've just had the hushpuppies. But why stop there, I shared the Nutty Butty Cheesecake and took home the strawberry pie. Thanks for the awesome experience.
The Southern Bell is a passenger train car originally from the 1800s; the pastor car was turned into a restaurant in 1997. The atmosphere is quaint. All the woodwork is the original woodwork which is absolutely beautiful.
