“Absolutely recommend! This was a wonderful experience! We wondered in looking for an early morning pick-me-up and we're not disappointed! The lovely lady behind the counter (who I can only assume was the owner) had individualized drink recommendations for each of us based on our tastes. She had suggestions ranging from caffeine overload (basically jet fuel) for traveling companions to passion fruit infused green tea with Boba for me. She was also willing to answer lots of questions and more than informative with all of the fascinating processes she has, for example, making espresso in larger batches each day to not melt the ice in iced coffees. The coffee and tea were delicious and we loved this cute little store!”

“Fish Tales is our very first stop as we get to Broken Bow. The wine and food are delicious. It makes the beginning of our getaway very inviting . Gin, not sure of the spelling of his name, is so friendly and there is no charge for the wine tasting which they make. We always have requests to bring our friends some of their wine when we go. The outside deck is a delightful setting after traveling in the car. We highly recommend you visiting Fish Tales. You won’t be disappointed!🤗”

“We visited Buffalo Grill and discovered the Front Porch Peach ale from here. It was so good we had to stop and buy a growler from them of it! We drank it all during our trip here! We went back today with the empty growler and they refill them for a discounted rate. We got the watermelon sour this time! We also sampled the lemon sour! Both were very good! Three different people helped us over both visits, very friendly, knowledgeable! Definitely recommend. Visited 7/7/25.”

In addition to offering free wine tastings roughly every fifteen minutes, there are a ton of entertaining things to see and experience inside. I adored how positive and adaptable the attitude was. “Wow! My husband and I visited Rouge Local and it was perfection! I had a chicken fried steak and it fork tender, no knife needed!! My husband had the ribeye and he said it was cooked perfectly and delish!!! On top of the food the wait staff, incredible! It is LaBor Day weekend so we knew they would be busy, we got seated right away and service was top notch! 10/10”

“This place was by far one of the best Mexican restaurants I have ever been to! I did an internship in Georgia for the summer and I ate here at least twice a week! The food, the people, the atmosphere, and the prices were phenomenal. I’ll miss it!”

“The place closes at 8pm, we show up at 7:20 pm and were told, we're not taking any more dine in seating this close to closing time. Meanwhile, there's at least twenty people standing outside waiting for tables . My husband & I have worked in the restaurant industry and we're both appalled at this statement. We always give alot of leeway since we are aware of the challenges working in the service industry has but a business who counts on out of state visitors, this was a major disappointment.”

“We stopper in with friends and let me tell you what. You ope the door and the wonderful aroma of cumin and home made tamales hits you square in the face. It's a tiny place but there are tables outside under the shade room. Don't let the older building and small size keep you from trying it. Amazing food and wonderful staff who just want to feed you excellent quality food!!”

“How often do you go out to eat nowadays only to be disappointed by the quality of food you received? My answer is quite often. The food here was fresh, well seasoned and really quite tasty. I got the street tacos, 1 skrimp, 1 chkn, 1 brisket. All the meat selections were great. No fat or gristle, as is usually the case. The wait staff are young and friendly and efficient enough. Oh yeah, the Mac and Cheese is homemade goodness. The only thing that sucks is I would have to drive 3+ hours to go back. That said, I will be back. Yum yum.”
