The food feels to be more authentic Mexican, including horchata and Jarritos drinks. There's a TV if you must be entertained while enjoying great food. The staff are more ethnic than other Mexican restaurants, so Spanish speakers could enjoy conversation with them. It was a chilly, rainy day when we went to eat; however, there were multiple heaters set up in the small dining area which made it cozy!
Great food and great service. Only compliant I have is the prices on the menu are not what you get charged, I've been several times for the lunch specials always around 11ish; I always order the chimichanga lunch special which is $7.49 on the menu but have been getting charged $12.33.
I was passing through and Amigos was highly recommended on Google, and it is well deserved!First, the salsa may be the best salsa I've ever had at a Mexican restaurant. I could practically drink the stuff (not literally, but I took huge scoops).
