“We ate lunch here and they were very busy. Our waitress took our order quickly and our food arrived in a very reasonable time considering how busy they were. All the wait staff were fast, friendly and efficient. We had the Friday special which was fried catfish which came with 2 sides and hushpuppies. It was delicious. Our sides were coleslaw, side salad, barbecue beans, and grilled asparagus. Everything was delicious. Definitely would go here the next time we are in Hugo. I highly recommend this place!”

“I am from St. Louis originally, so when I moved here over twenty years ago, I despaired of ever having truly good Italian food again. I tried several places in the region, but nothing quite met my standards.Then Roma came to Hugo, and I was pleasantly surprised. Their food is delicious, authentic, and well-prepared. I can't recommend just one item as everything is delightful. The side salad does lack something, but the House dressing is quite good. You're going to have lovely bread and such generous portions you won't care.It's a popular place that can get rather loud during peak hours, but the music is not, so non-peak dining is family-friendly as well as reasonably quiet. Dress is casual to just-came-from-working-outside. In other words, don't worry about it. You will enjoy it, and if something is a little off, the owner is generally around and he will go out of his way to make you happy.”

“I am a burger snob. Burgers are my favorite and I am constantly looking for the ultimate burger. More often than bot I am disappointed but not this time. These burgers are phenomenal! Starting with the 1st bite you taste every single ingredient. The burger itself is fat, juicy and seasoned perfectly. Best burger I have had in years and the onion rings are just as good!!”

“My husband and I luckily found this great little Doughnut shop and Eatery just passing through Hugo, Oklahoma.Friendly staff, delicious homemade doughnuts and fresh made breakfasts and lunch menu's ?. "Mom and Pop businesses are THE best ? ? ?.Oh yeah, we drove here from Montana!!!”

“Ordered a cheese burger and fries. The food was good. Sometimes, a good diner burger hits the spot. The fries are your typical frozen fries, but they were fried just right. My fries had no salt, not sure if that's normal or if they forgot. Personally, I prefer to salt my own fries. I have to admit, I came to this location because of the circus theme. Lot of knickknacks and pictures/posters to look at.”

“The staff are absolutely 5 star, the atmosphere is wonderful, great energy lots of people totally positive, they've always got something going on, and you can tell if they really care about the community of Hugo and beyond.”

“I was passing through and Amigos was highly recommended on Google, and it is well deserved!First, the salsa may be the best salsa I've ever had at a Mexican restaurant. I could practically drink the stuff (not literally, but I took huge scoops). It is milder, so not everyone's taste, but for me it was incredible.The Hawaiian Fajitas were delicious, with the shrimp, chicken, steak, and pineapple. Everything tasted so fresh, and I loved how the pineapple was sliced almost in strips instead of chucks to match the fajita meat and vegetables.Highly recommend and would Definitely come back.”

“Excellent authentic food. No frills dining area. Amazing burritos at a great price. Best thing is that it appears that the owners are the operators here, husband is in the back of the house and wife takes orders and serves. She is super cute and friendly. Complimentary, fresh homemade corn chips and salsa. Great place for inexpensive but authentic Mexican food made with care.”

“The service was quick and friendly. I loved my carne asada and my husband really enjoyed his chili relleno. For me salsa is key. The salsa here is not watered down and it was so full of flavor! I really want the recipe please. Lol thanks for dinner from the tired travelers.”

“New menu items! The soft pretzel stick is wonderfully crunchy and sift and delicious on the inside. I had a little trouble with the sizes... their popcorn chicken comes in as 3 ounces, that's about 7-10 pieces and a good bargain ?”

“I love the buffet at this Simple Simon's, and the staff is very friendly and professional. I have never used the delivery service, so I can not give an opinion on that... I have dined in before, and it was clean, but I got two orders to go this last visit.”

“I live in Durant, Oklahoma, and if you've ever eaten at the KFC here, you'll understand when I say I've had bad experiences. I stopped in here while out of town working. I can honestly say this is by far the best KFC I've eaten at in a long time. First, the restaurant was very clean, even the restrooms. The food was hot and fresh. Anytime I'm in Hugo, and hungry, this will be my stop. Thanks”

“I love the morning staff here! They make me laugh so much. I usually go to the wrong window because I am half dead in the morning. But they are usually really funny and if there is ever an issue they have always offered me my money back or a substitute.”
