This was my second time eating at Angie’s. As in the first time the food and service was wonderful. We both had the open faced steak sandwich. It was hot and fresh and reminded us of the type of food we ate at home when we were young. That’s a wonderful thing!

My family and I have eaten there for years, I don't know what has happened but last two times we ordered from there, chicken fried steak diner wasn't worth eating. Meat was so tuff that you couldn't hardly cut it let a lone chew it. Had raw taste, was hardly cooked. We won't be back, waste of money.

Was in Hugo overnight due to a family emergency. We ate breakfast at Angie's before heading back to okc. Servers were very polite and attentive. Even though they were a little busy, the food was served quickly and was delicious, and the price was excellent. Would not hesitate to visit again if we find ourselves in town. Thanks!

The food was amazing and service was good. Our server was always making sure we were all set and made sure coffee and drinks were filled. The price was not bad for 3 breakfasts meals with 2 orange juices and coffee refills was less then 40 bucks.

Very nice staff. Booth or tables available. Great daily specials- meat choice with 3 sides. They have a simple salad bar. Enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich with fries and handmade onion rings. They had already run out of chocolate pie.

We always try to go to Angie's Restaurant it's been a staple in Hugo oklahoma and has the same lady running it as owner and the cook,has great food and excellent service

Food is great and staff is awesome!!!!!! EDIT 8/24/24 we hadn't been back for almost 7yrs and ate there today and it was great! Staff was still excellent and food was delicious
I had a Bacon Burger, because I ordered a patty melt and the waitress came back & ask me if I wanted mustard or mayonnaise so I knew they did not know how to make a patty melt...the bacon burger was a hot,I had to bring 1/2 of it home yummy

Breakfast...45 minutes wait for pancakes and Western Omelette. The pancakes arrived...they were like rubber and could not be cut with a fork. The omelette...the eggs were burned and tough...the omelette was so greasy I had to use a napkin to soak up the sitting grease on it...when I told my waitress we were not eating "this stuff" and explained why...she just walked off! Went to the cashier to pay for the coffee...and she informed us that even though we didn't eat the food...we still owed them over $20. I know this place has some good reviews...but this is the second or third time this type of thing has happened to me and my wife here.....I just think you are gambling with luck when you go here! And....I have heard from other locals that wound up with the same situation....just be aware!
