I love this BBQ burger joint. The service was exceptional and the food was tasty and satisfying. I nearly had one of each thing on their menu; burger, bbq, fries, beans, brisket, sausage, pulled pork, baked potato, corn bread, and banana pudding. Even the water was good. I'll be back for sure.

Best burgers we've had in a very long time. Fries and onion rings were perfect. Will stop by here every time we visit!

Trashy…everything is served in styrofoam with plastic lids. Makes for a lot of trash.

I had the one meat plate of sliced brisket with sides of coleslaw and potato salad. The brisket was a bit dry, the coleslaw was passable, but the potato salad was bland and mashed.

Service was barely adequate. All the servers walk around scowling and intense. Polite but short.

Might come try the burger sometime since locals rave about it.

Not super impressed with the food but it wasn’t disgusting. The ribs (which are only served on Friday and Saturday) were kind of bland but tender and the loaded baked potato with brisket was dry and the meat didn’t have whole lot of flavor. The sauce was good and so was the coleslaw.

Hidden Gem 💎 of Hugo Ok,
If you're ever passing through Hugo, Oklahoma, do yourself a favor and make a stop at The Pit Stop Barbecue. This place is the definition of a hometown treasure. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with that down-home charm you only get in small towns — and the food? Absolutely phenomenal.
The menu has everything you could ever want when it comes to real-deal barbecue. Tender, flavorful meats, generous sides, and portions so big you'll leave with a full belly and a to-go bag bursting at the seams. It’s comfort food done right — no frills, just hearty, smoky, perfectly seasoned goodness.
A huge shout-out to Samantha, our waitress, who was absolutely on top of everything. Friendly, fast, and incredibly helpful — she made sure our drinks were full, our plates were hot, and our experience was smooth from start to finish. At checkout, Marley had us rung up and ready to go lickety-split. These two young ladies were amazing — fast, efficient, and just plain sweet.
The Pit Stop Barbecue isn’t just a restaurant — it’s the kind of place that makes you feel like a regular, even if it's your first time. Delicious food, great service, and an atmosphere that feels like home. Don't miss it!

Meat wasnt cooked all the way it was still bloody on the inside had to take it back. Also, staff is rude and very lazy they ignore the customers and just stand around talking instead of helping with orders also none of the employees wear gloves or hairnets

Burgers were on point! Wish you could do waffle fries as an option when making it a combo
