“Are you wondering if you should give George's your time and money? Well, gather 'round, children, because it's story time.

I've been to George's several times and I already knew the food was way better than the food in a small, downtown pub, nestled in a suburb ought to be. However, this time I couldn't be arsed to leave the house, so I DoorDashed.

I wanted to change the side on the burger from fries to their fried green beans, but DoorDash (being that their interface sucks eggs) didn't have an option for me to do so. So, I called George's and asked if they could make the change on my order. The lady who answered the phone said she wasn't sure they could since that change was an upcharge, but she'd get her manager on the phone with me to let me know.

She put the phone down and I could hear they were pretty busy. I waited on the phone about 4 minutes or so, which felt like a long time when you're just sitting on the phone, so I decided it wasn't really worth it and hung up.

When my food arrived what did I find??? They had thrown in a whole side of fried green beans...FOR FREE.

So yes - George's has good food. But they also have good people. Go see for yourself. Bon Appetit!“

“Al is absolutely wonderful. We stopped in on our way south for vacation. Al the bartender, cook, entertainment and owner was very friendly and made us feel very welcomed. The regular patrons were very friendly as well. The outside is a little intimidating but very glad we stopped in.“

“We are working in the area and stayed next door at Hampton. The guy I work with is a big pool player and he was excited to see this place next door. It gave us something to do after work.
The tables are nice and well lit.
I usually don't like bar food back home, but this place is different. We just so happened to be there on Tuesday. Well it was taco Tuesday. I don't remember what the price was exactly, but the picture I took was under $8 and really good.

The next time we are working in this area, we'll definitely be back. I want to try some other menu items.“

“Giving 4 stars because I dine here frequently and usually the BURGAH is amazing, as are the thin / shoestring fries. Lovely staff as well, and sportsball on TVs everywhere you look.

Tonight we were told the special was the breaded chicken sandwich, which I assumed (my mistake I admit) was a fried chicken sandwich, like many of the google results when searching “breaded chicken sandwich.” What I ended up eating was a sorry excuse for a chicken sandwich, (more like a chicken patty) and not sPeCiAL in any way. It was disappointing, and I will be sticking to the BURGAH and pizza going forward.“

“McNellie’s is always a great stop. The food is always fresh and the beer is always cold. We picked up some fish and chips for a family member in the hospital and they said it was the best meal they’d had in weeks. Very happy with the portion sizes and the how flaky the fish was: cooked to perfection.“

“20/27/24 Certainly, this establishment is deserving of its five-star rating. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. The customer service was exceptional, with attentive staff who consistently checked on our well-being.
The clam chowder soup was delectable, and the beef stroganoff was generously filled with meat. I can not express enough how delicious it was.“

“Fun group bar and grill, if you have a large group this is a great place to go. Drinks can be strong but that depends on the bartender, not all of the bartenders pour heavy. I can't rate the food never tried the food, but the people and staff are great. Love the outside they have chairs and couches very fun and comfortable“
