Little did I know this restaurant would become an oasis for me. When it was first being built, I remember thinking to myself, “What a waste of money—who wants to go out just to eat grass?”
Well, life has a way of humbling us. For the first time ever, I found out I’m prediabetic. I can’t have gluten. I can’t have dairy. I have high cholesterol. The list just kept growing. Prior to this past Monday—from the time I’m writing this on Google Maps—I had no idea my entire diet, and honestly my life, was about to change.
My doctor told me, “If you don’t start now, you’ll need serious medication,” and that could even put my flying career at risk. So Tuesday, I began a completely new diet. And let me tell you, I’ve been starving these last three days, eating nothing I’m accustomed to.
That’s why I call Salads To Go an oasis. This afternoon, I was desperate. Across the street was the old spot where I’d grab a torta or some greasy tacos—calling my name from a distance, begging me to come back. Instead, I pulled into this drive-thru for the first time.
What did I find? Salads. All salads. And at that moment, the Greek salad was the most beautiful thing I’d ever seen.
Now I understand why places like this exist. There are people like me who simply can’t risk it anymore. For some of us, it isn’t a trend—it’s our only option. And I’m genuinely grateful places like this are here.

My friend has been urging me to come here for a long while, and I finally came 2 evening ago (so glad I did!) and had the autumn salad with balsamic, which was amazing. I’m back again tonight, and I’m having the fajita salad with jalapeño ranch. Both times I had with chicken and had great and fast service. Josie was patient and kind, answering all of my questions. I hope I can find one of these establishments closer to my home, in north Frisco or north Plano Texas. Would be great for a quick to grab lunch, especially when time is tight! Very generous portions. Lettuce and all ingredients were fresh and tasty and the dressings are great too! Note both pics were after I started in because they are so good! 🥗😋

Drive through salad that tastes delicious, yes please. I had the Cobb with chicken. Everything was fresh and the perfect portion size for lunch. The employee i encountered was super helpful with suggestions as this was my first visit.

Really miss the 5 for $25 weekend special!!!!!! The salads are great except this last time it felt like the portion had gone down but the price had gone up. All the prior times we've picked up from here, even without special, has been great so maybe just an off shift.
