“We have been coming to Pete's since my sister's and I were little girls. After my dad passed We bring our mom here on Mother's Day. Love the private rooms however, this year year the food was lacking in heat, portion size, and just absent for a while. Our server disappeared and did not even offer us dessert. Hope it was just a glitch for the day.“

“This is the first time we have visited Captain John's. We were absolutely satisfied! The service was great and the food was amazing! Every item we ordered was superb! I was pleasantly surprised with the crawfish etouffee. I had never tried it but it was actually very tasty and a little bit spicy which I loved. The red beans and rice were amazing, the catfish was very tasty and crunchy. The fried shrimp was great! Just an overall amazing experience and we will definitely visit again.“

“Parking is tough. I came in about 4:30, not hugely busy at that time eventhough it was Cinco de Mayo. Seated quickly, quick service, but I don't really like being called 'boss' by a server. Food came out quickly & hot, attentive server, salsa was great. I ordered the California burrito- disappointed because there were small strips of chicken poking out each end but most of the internal ingredients were rice, beans, and lettuce, not much chicken. Reasonably priced, not bad, I might go back.“

“After having one of the worst days I stopped in to grab a quick bite. The girls waitressing were all so happy and very attentive to their job. They 100% made my whole day 10X better. Food came out fast and my drink stayed full! I can happily say I’ll be revisiting and hope to have the same waitresses!“

“Hope the company reads these. I asked about gluten free and the girl at the counter was transparent about cross contamination and suggested the pizza bake without the crust. Most places wouldn't do that and as someone who gets very sick from gluten I really appreciate it. Don't remember her name but it was about 1pm on July 26“
