Food was absolutely great. Service needs to improve. Our server was new, but gave her grace, we all have been there. Experience wasn't as great as the first time we visited, but I would still recommend.
25th anniversary dinner, delicious, Red Fish with Asparagus and Artichoke Risotto. Pork Chop with Artichokes Risotto. House salads, Steamed Artichoke. Fantastic Service. Great Atmosphere. JIGHLY RECOMMEND.
5/3/ 2025 The Artichoke is a beloved, cozy restaurant in a cottage near Grand Lake. It has changed owners, yet the food and atmosphere seem to have remained the same. I've eaten there 3 or 4 times and always enjoyed it. The cocktails and wine selections are nice also. I think I've always had a crab cake but this time got the special of the day, lobster thermidor.
