The food and location are great but they have some staff issues. We waited 15 minutes to get our order taken and that was having to chase down someone. I’ve dined here many times without issue but this last time wasn’t a good experience.
We went mid-afternoon on a Saturday when the place was packed but got a booth right away. Our server was friendly and attentive and our food order for four came out hot, quick and correct. It’s a neat comfortable venue too. Oh, and the chicken is bomb dignity good! Just watch the baked beans, they’re on the spicy side.
Great outside area to hang out and play games, let the kids run around and burn off energy. Great for larger parties. We had a party of 13 for a birthday. Service was good, staff was friendly. I got the chicken tenders and fries. These tenders were thick and had a lot of meat per tender. Fries were just meh. Soggy. Okra was your standard.
Would be great for the hot summer nights to hang out outside or during the spring and fall.
