Mcgehee Catfish Restaurant Reviews
We ordered 4 all you can eat catfish plates (what we received was not worth the price we paid) and a steak(not worth the price we paid). The steak was way over cooked and bland (my fault for ordering a steak at a fish place), catfish was delicious. They never asked if we would like more fish, but offered to other tables, so I’m not sure how they justify calling it all you can eat. The service was terrible, which sucks because the food was good.
I would like to say a big Thank You to Grace Lynn for being a great waitress. The food was great. The Catfish is worth driving from Fort Worth to eat.
Way overpriced. Fried pies undercooked and fish just ok. 77.00 dollars for two Seniors really. Go to Kingston 13.99 all you can eat. Yum.

McGehee's Catfish Restaurant is a long-standing establishment known for its delicious catfish, hush puppies, fries, and green tomato relish. Customers often share memories of fishing in the restaurant's ponds and enjoying family gatherings there. The catfish dinner is especially praised as an exceptional meal that leaves diners feeling satisfied and content. The restaurant is tucked back off the highway, down a gravel parking lot, with a view of the Red River that visitors find very beautiful. Many people drive long distances—sometimes over 130 miles—to enjoy the food several times a year. The owner and staff provide friendly service, and the atmosphere offers a peaceful setting for meals. The green tomato relish and hush puppies are highly recommended, with some saying they are unforgettable. Overall, McGehee's is a special place for catfish lovers and those looking for a great meal with a scenic view.
