The Old Plantation Restaurant

Awesome place, great food, great service. Took family visiting from Kentucky to medicine park and stopped off at the old plantation for lunch. Our server Lucas was awesome. We'll definitely come back for great service and food.

Highly recommend!! The food is great and not extremely overpriced! Our sever on Valentines was Chris! He was very efficient and was always right there when we need anything!! Thank you Chris for being a wonderful server on our special Valentines dinner date!! AAAA++++ Service!!

Food was okay. Service was okay. Hostess should probably consider a position other than customer service. She had zero personality and seemed bothered by our presence.

Excellent service and food. Cedar plank salmon is a must try! Steak also couldn’t be beat. Would love to see real butter, instead of margarine served with the rolls. But overall a delicious, quality meal.

Food was good but very basic. I would have expected more based on the price. They were not busy at all but the server seemed very hurried. When she first came by to get my drink order she also asked if I knew what I wanted to eat. I had literally just sat down and had barely had a chance to glance at the menu. Steak was okay, salad was drowning in dressing, and fried okra was great except the waitress literally took my plate away as I was eating. I was too shocked to say anything. I was very underwhelmed but will try a visit for lunch next time to see if it’s any better.

We were in town to do some hiking for my birthday and decided to give Old Plantation a try for lunch! I had the chicken tenders with a side of veggies… the chicken was incredible and super tender. The veggies were to die for, not overly buttery (some restaurants overdo it with the butter!) and the seasoning was unique but delicious. My boyfriend had the grilled shrimp which was also seasoned and cooked perfectly. We had such a great experience and loved the food so much we came back for dinner after a day of hiking. We both ordered steaks which had incredible flavor and were cooked to absolute perfection. We can’t wait to come back!

had a business meeting at the OP today and Dennise was our wait staff .. 100% she was top notch the service over the top and she definitely know how to make an old fashion!!

Our service was very quick and our waitress was helpful and kind. I ordered a butterbeer and it was delicious! I enjoyed the steak, but I do feel like some flavor profile was missing — good otherwise!

Not impressed with the food for how pricey everything was. Maybe we just didn’t order the right menu items. *shrugs* I am seeing in the other reviews that folks seem to love their catfish. The burgers were $15 each and were very underwhelming lacking flavor. The sweet tea was great! The blackberry cobbler was alright, but could have been warmer to pair with the ice cream. Not the best burger you can buy in the area however I will give credit where credit is due for: quick seating, friendly service, and a wide variety of menu options.

The bartender, larger woman with tattoos, was extremely rude and showed no regard for proper service or etiquette. I’m not sure how she manages to run the bar.”

This not no 5 star restaurant and almost $16 for dam cheese burger is hiway robbery i can go to Anbs Conntry Kitchen n get a cheese burger bigger then I had n i couldn't even eat all and it was just as good or even better n 4 dollars cheaper i will not be coming back n thus nothing like what the old plantation use to b like I will not b coming back for is expensive n it just as good or better at Anns Country kitchen just about 7 or 8 miles from hiway 49 on hiway 58 better than this place this place is nothing like the old plantation

This place is a keeper. The food is good, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere is pleasant enough. The one down side is the on tap beer selection was anemic with the bottled selection not being much better, but a good place to eat overall.
