First time here and had the brisket and ribs, both were great, really loved the ribs. No sauce needed. For the sides the green beans were amazing as well and so was the fried okra.

First of all, they have the best Bologna sandwiches ever! The bologna is like a 1/2 " thick, no kidding! Great sides. Oh, and holy smokes....try the potatoes. They are huge! Check them out!!
Upon walking in to Big O's around 4:30pm I was the only customer. It felt like a mistake because of the lack of people. However, I was dead set on what I was going to order prior to walking in and thought it'd be difficult to mess up pulled pork nachos. So I ordered my full order of loaded nachos and 2 spare ribs. Now, unboxing it looked good, although the ribs looked dry. The loaded nachos, however fell short. There was very little pulled pork, lots of cheese, sauce (and extra sauce on the side) sour cream, beans, and stale chips. When I got under the surface of it all there were nothing but crushed chips; disaponting. The lack of pulled pork was highly disappointing! Next the ribs. The ribs fell off the bone just looking at them. This shouldn't be! They should have a slight tug nut fall off. Most of the ribs was very easy to eat while there was a large portion that was very tough. This indicates they over cooked it while cooking it under high heat to get it done fast. What was good, if you like sweet sauce, was the BBQ sauce. The service was nice to as they seemed friendly. Im not sure if I would go back as there were to many negatives. Do they have the potential to get better? Only if they are serious about BBQ!Parking: There was lots of parking available. The shop next door was empty and Big O's had 0 customers.
I came all the way from Tulsa to try BigO’s and I can definitely tell you this was a great all around experience with good food. The owner and staff very friendly would highly recommend for great BBQ.I came all the way back because I forgot to try the Pudding which was fantastic!!!

Wonderful Barbecue. Portions are right sized. Using a 5" Bun and filling it up. Also amazing Filled Baked Potatoes. Good Ribs, Pulled Pork and Hot Links so far. The Steak Fries are good along with the Baked Beans. If you leave hungry it's your fault. I have been to both locations also.
Very friendly service and very clean The brisket was very tender and lean and the ribs were fall of the bone tender. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for bbq in the mid west city area.

EVERYTHING about this place is 5 stars. We came in with a group of 6 so it took a little bit to make all of our food fresh but it was worth it! Big O is in the kitchen making sure everything is perfect. Try the mustard potato salad and the bologna sandwich. The best!!!!

Owners are super nice folks, restaurant was very clean and great atmosphere. If I lived close by I'd be a regular...but since I don't, I'll make it a regular stop when I'm in the area.
