“The food was amazing i got the fish and chips all of it was delicious the coleslaw was the best I've ever had, my wife got the catfish and loaded baked potato and they were both the biggest I've ever seen in a restaurant, my 3 year old got the corn dog and tater tots and it was a fit long corn dog and cooked to perfection. We also got the fried portobello mushroom fries and omg. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED you won't be disappointed!“

“Almost did not try because of odd name, bldg and location in a dusty gravel parking lot. Glad I did! Was a pleasant surprise! Case of don't judge a book by its cover. These folks are impressive! They are putting out a big variety of tasty comfort foods in a very fast, friendly manner. Price and very personable employees make up for the lack of decor like a Cracker Barrel. “Cozy place, walls covered in old photos of people and memorabilia. Very off route 66. Despite every seat in the house being filled I had a hard time getting my cup half empty. Food was great, fresh, little details like salt on the tomato really speak to the skill of the chef. Definitive examples of our orders. When the meal came out with the wrong side, another waitress had the right dish on my table before I could mention it. Exceptional all around.“

“We had a table of 6. Our service was wonderful and quick. I had the fish basket with French fries and my son and I devoured it. The fried pickles are awesome too. The location was unreal! “We have been going to Pistol Pat's since we moved yo Langley 13 years ago. The food is always good, the place (and the onion rings) reminds me of a place that I grew up loving! Pistol Pat's is just a very good, privately owned, old-fashioned burger joint! I don't eat meat, but the fries, the onion rings, or the fried mushrooms make a wonderful meal for me, and my family can get their burgers. “We have eaten here many times and have never had a single meal that wasn’t full of flavor. The clam strip appetizer with in-house tarter leaves you feeling like you are on the New England coast. Hands down the best I have ever had outside of New England. The steaks are amazing. The service is outstanding. The last few times Lakin has been our server and is always friendly and attentive. We have been able to try many menu items including a combo dessert of fried cheesecake wontons with the best bread pudding- delicious! Highly recommend!“

“Love this place!My family and I have been coming here for years.Food is great, beer is cold and prices are very attractive.Pizza here is really good!!The inside is open to the outside so you can see the pool from almost anywhere in the restaurant.The pool/ splashpad is amazing!You can sit and enjoy your beer while your kids swim or get in the pool yourself!They have a little playground next to the pool my kids love.This place is a must stop if you're on grand lake!“

“It's been a long time since we had the breakfast buffet anywhere. We were skeptic because many buffets don't have good bacon, but this place did. Enjoyed the sausage links which were spicy. The egg was not bad. Can't complain. One thing I could give them a little advice on is add a little water to the grits and a little water to the gravy to thin it out a little bit more. Overall great experience. We had fun with our server. For she was quick-witted the coffee cup was always taken care of.“

“This is the best of Small Town America family diners!!! They gave too much quality, delicious home cooked food for my money! And I've never said that before in a review in my 56 years. Had the Chicken Fried steak and it was the real deal! There was no guessing about it being real country fried steak. Nothing frozen or pressed about it. I opted for the salad bar and they said I could just substitute for my veggie. The salad bar plates were so big I felt guilty. They had real bacon and diced ham, and lots of other fixings. It did take a little while for the fried steak to come out, but you can get fast food or a pre-battered pressed steak patty somewhere else if you want. Home cooking takes a little time. I will DEFINITELY be back! Wish this place was in my hometown. Looks small from the road, but spacious seating inside with a great Diner atmosphere. Staff was tremendous!!!!! GREAT DINER with quality home cooking, and reasonable prices! (I got too much for my money)“

“I can't believe that we've never had dinner here before! We love the bar but honestly had not heard great things about the restaurant. We wanted to leave a review because i'd hate for others to pass this place up! We had a fabulous dinner. I had the Summer Harvest dinner and added grilled salmon. It was perfection. My husband had the ribeye and said that it was great. Our friends had the Blackened salmon primavera and the lobster ravioli special and said they were both great. Loved the bread that they served with the meal. We will be back!“

“This little place was a great find! We were looking for something unique to the area. Every single person who took care of us was friendly and helpful, we felt very welcome. (& I'd guess it is mostly a local spot, friendly patrons as well!) In my opinion they had an excellent selection of wine, though I had a beer with my ribeye. I saw two of my all time favs behind the bar; Caymus and Stag Hill. We had ribeyes (which were good) and awesome mashed potatoes. They had homemade bread pudding on the menu which is my husband's fav, but we were too stuffed to attempt it. It's located in a small strip mall, we almost couldn't find it. Worth checking out!“

“The food here was absolutely amazing!!! The shebang shrimp was SOOOO good I will be thinking about it for the rest of my life. The spinach artichoke dip was also amazing. I got the burger which I found absolutely delectable. We sat at the bar which had a speakeasy vibe that I enjoyed and the server, whose name I can’t remember right now, was so amazing and friendly. They were a little short staffed but we didn’t mind because we weren’t in a rush. I would love to come back here!!“
