“If you need a place just to sit around and relax with good people this is the place to go and it is good to be there with people you know. Today really disappointed and staving. I guess I'll go next door for a pizza ? I go all the time and when it is so crowded like it was the other night with the parking lot full I will decline”

“Wonderful little restaurant. We stumbled upon it and loved the people and the food. Nice, cozy atmosphere with a very friendly staff. The only problem I had was that there were no cheese grits, but the owner said they would start serving it soon. I highly recommend this restaurant!”

“My husband and I went to the Fire Pit for the first time last weekend for the all you can eat crab! We have eaten in a lot of restaurants all over the country and by far this place was the best restaurant we have ever been too! The food was spot on great and the atmosphere was exceptional but above all the service was OUTSTANDING not just our waitress but everyone! I have never been somewhere that the entire restaurant staff has interacted and made you feel so welcome! 5 stars is honestly not enough! We will definitely be back and are bringing the rest the family too!! Thank you for such a great evening!!!”

“Almost did not try because of odd name, bldg and location in a dusty gravel parking lot. Glad I did! Was a pleasant surprise! Case of don't judge a book by its cover. These folks are impressive! They are putting out a big variety of tasty comfort foods in a very fast, friendly manner. Price and very personable employees make up for the lack of decor like a Cracker Barrel. Too bad no dinner hrs, but could always order late lunch take out dinners! Chicken fried chicken with country gravy was yummy!Dietary restrictions: Had warmed sugar free syrup for giant pancake!”

“I cannot say enough about how amazing the owner/staff is. The place definitely takes you back a few decades, so cozy, so much to look at and I was amazed at everything being a repurposed item. I was traveling from Tulsa Oklahoma back to Michigan and this was a suggestion by someone in the city that said - don't bother with any place in the city. Go out route 66 and you will come across this little town and you can't miss the diner. Sure enough about 30 down, there it was! No way to miss it. And I suggest you don't!!”

“We have been going to Pistol Pat's since we moved yo Langley 13 years ago. The food is always good, the place (and the onion rings) reminds me of a place that I grew up loving! Pistol Pat's is just a very good, privately owned, old-fashioned burger joint! I don't eat meat, but the fries, the onion rings, or the fried mushrooms make a wonderful meal for me, and my family can get their burgers. I recommend that you visit themVegetarian options: FriesOnion ringsCheese ballsI'm not sure of anything else”

“Great Mexican restaurant, ask for Victor he’s the best server, though his section may be full for this reason. Try the carne asada steaks or the shrimp cocktail. Also the salsa picosa if you like it hot!”

“This is by far the most authentic tacos I’ve found in an hour radius. The barbacoa or carnita tacos are definitely my favorite. Their quesadillas are so perfectly crispy. You never would expect such good Mexican food on the island! Also the owner is such a vibe, very friendly, and always makes you feel welcome! He’s a local artist too and has a lot of his art on display throughout the restaurant. This is an eccentric experience that you can’t miss out on and is worth the drive. Get there early because they can definitely sell out of a lot throughout the day! We go 3+ times a week for lunch.”
“Oh boy. From the outside? Looks pretty average. When you step inside though… it’s like a museum for tacky Irish decor, and I’m in to it.Couple pool tables, shuffle board, owner/bartender was extremely attentive, coming round to the pool table to see if we needed another round, and he kept the juke box playing.$39 all said and done for 3 rounds of vodka soda (3 each that is)”

“We had the all you can eat fried chicken, and it was ok. It was nice and crispy. The wait staff was friendly, not enough so that I can say it was a memorable trip. The "usuals" kinda stared because we were new. It's definitely a homestyle diner.”

“It's been a long time since we had the breakfast buffet anywhere. We were skeptic because many buffets don't have good bacon, but this place did. Enjoyed the sausage links which were spicy. The egg was not bad. Can't complain. One thing I could give them a little advice on is add a little water to the grits and a little water to the gravy to thin it out a little bit more. Overall great experience. We had fun with our server. For she was quick-witted the coffee cup was always taken care of.”
