South 125 Bar and Grill is a casual bar and grill with a friendly atmosphere. The new layout has been opened up, with sports on 3 big screens and pool tables. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The owners are always making their rounds to check on everyone’s experience. The food is exceptional and delicious. Menu items include French Toast, described as more of a dessert, a sandwich with Ham, Turkey & thick toasted bread, the bacon burger, wings, the Southbound Salmon, and Bacon Is My Jam handhelds. The fried pickles and mushroom fries are also good. The tea was fresh and the bartender was pouring up cold drinks. The menu is very moderately priced, with different menus like MEXICAN MONDAY, a BRUNCH Menu, and a dinner menu. The atmosphere is great, and guests are treated like regulars and old friends. It is the best place for eats and drinks on the island, a true island gem.
