“The Big Friendly may be small in size, but it definitely lives up to its name! We took a little drive around the charming neighborhood before stopping in for a drink, and we’re so glad we did. The vibe is welcoming, the beer selection is great, and the atmosphere is just right for both adults and kids. I tried the Blackberry Blossom and it quickly became a new favorite—delicious and refreshing! The space itself is cozy but offers both indoor and outdoor seating, which gave us the flexibility to find the perfect spot to relax. One of my favorite features was the sweet little room under the stairs filled with kids' books—it’s such a thoughtful touch for families. They also had fun branded merch, including hats and even some items for kids (perfect for beer-loving parents looking for a souvenir). Plus, we scored a few free stickers to add to our growing collection! We also enjoyed the pizza place right next door and loved that there’s a playground just outside—it made for the perfect, low-key afternoon with something for everyone. If you're in the area, The Big Friendly is absolutely worth a visit. Great beer, good vibes, and a spot the whole family can enjoy!“

“Good variety of food! My burger was delicious and not dry at all. I got a kids meal and it was the same size burger as the adult meal and included fries and a drink or custard. I would return!“

“This little dive bar has a regular clientele and staff that will pull you into its folds and make you feel at home. Everyone is friendly! Its a clean dive bar/biker bar atmosphere with plenty of free parking in the back, a fantastic bar, 3 well kept pool tables and equipment (free on Mondays), darts, and karaoke on some nights. Come as you are! (I suggest using the entrance behind the bar off of Tecumseh road instead of the Porter entrance)“

“The food is really good especially the fries. The staff here are all amazing. Very friendly and helpful. The OTR Old Fashioneds are fantastic. Again I can’t compliment the staff here enough. Prices are very reasonable.Yes it gets busy on game days and takes some time but it’s completely worth the wait.“

“My girlfriend and I visited Rally for Valentines Day dinner. They had a set menu specifically for the evening with the perfect mix of food to accommodate any diner. I had the hot-honey pork belly, grilled hangar steak and ended it off with the apple cobbler and homemade vanilla ice cream. It was unbelievably good! She had the blackened diver scallop and shrimp, the pork cutlets, and the lemon-raspberry napoleon to follow. Our waitress, I believe her name was Joella (though I may be remembering wrong), was superb. She was quick, attentive, and very nice. She complemented both of our outfits and was very friendly. Traveling an hour and a half from Stillwater for dinner, I was, admittedly, a little nervous. However, when we walked into the restaurant, all my nerves subsided. We were greeted with fast service and live saxophone that was just loud enough to be enjoyable while not dominating the room. All in all, I have no complaints about this restaurant. Truly a class-act and a place to try if you're in the area. It was $75 a person for this Valentines event, which was very affordable compared to some other similar events. I would highly recommend Rally Kitchen & Bar for your next date night- even if you have to drive an hour and a half like us!“
