Van's Pig Stands Reviews
Where to start…I happened to meet the family of this establishment in Arkansas in a hotel lobby as I was traveling to the panhandle of Texas with a 32 foot camper. They said we would not be disappointed by the taste of their BBQ if we decided to stop there for lunch and man… were they RIGHT! I had room to park but from helpful and happy hosts, to quick delivery of food, and even better tasting food than the uplifting environment. I highly recommend stopping here for a full...read full review
Took my turkey to Vans in Moore to have them smoke it for thanksgiving and it was NOT smoked just cooked. I invite anyone to taste it. Paid $30 for them to “smoke” it when I could have done a better job cooking it than they did. Spoke to the manager and he swore he remembered MY specific turkey out of the many many that they smoked for thanksgiving. Very disappointed and told so many people that they smoke turkeys but they don’t they just cook them.
I would give Van's a 6 out of 10.
the portion of food was small and not much flavor .
however the curly fries and Mac and cheese was good .
the bbq sauce is good .
the music and decor was great but the prices are to high for the lack of meat you get .

Van's Pig Stands is a friendly and spacious BBQ restaurant that offers a variety of tasty dishes and a comfortable atmosphere. Located conveniently with plenty of parking and even a drive-thru, it is easy to access whether dining inside or taking out. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing quick service that makes for a relaxing experience.
The restaurant serves a range of meats, with pork ribs being especially recommended for their good flavor and the BBQ rub that makes them enjoyable even without sauce. Other meats like brisket, pulled pork, and smoked turkey are also available, though some can be dry or less tender. The fried bologna sandwich is very tasty, and the turkey is good but a little bland. Sides such as potato salad and fried okra are fresh and not over seasoned, adding to the overall positive experience.
Meals come out hot and fresh, and the atmosphere maintains a classic BBQ joint feel. While some reviews mention that the ribs can be tough or the brisket slices dry, most find the food satisfying and well-prepared. Beverages like sweet tea are delicious, and the restaurant maintains a clean environment.
Overall, Van's Pig Stands is a good spot for BBQ with something for everyone. Many appreciate the quick service, friendly staff, and flavorful food that keeps them coming back to try other menu items.
