I ordered the hatties special hamburger with cheese, didn't know what the Hattie's special Burger was so I asked the waitress, the waitress said it was a half pound hamburger it comes with fries so the hatties is a hamburger basket, when it came out to the table I noticed it wasn't no half pound Patty quarter pound at the best, the cheese well should have left that off cheese is not that good definitely a knock-off slice of cheese, I'm giving it four star cuz the food was okay...read full review
I like local diners that feel more like home than a restaurant. Nothing fancy, just good, home cooked food. You always want to order the special. That's how you find out what they do best. That's what the locals want. This was one of those places. They probably had half a dozen specials, from meatloaf and roast beef dinners to chicken fried steak. I will always recommend the Mooreland Cafe! The wait staff is always great and attentive with positive smiles. The burgers and homemade fries never disappoint. Teresa , the owner, makes the best biscuits and gravy (Saturday's only) & gravy for chicken strips and fries. They have daily specials, that are homemade along with everything else on the menu.
