Charlie's chicken has great chicken chunks, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, and cole slaw. I don't care for their baked beans. This particular restaurant, the staff, is always nice and very helpful. They do not offer a gluten-free menu, so if you need gluten-free, I recommend the rotisserie chicken. The meat loaf does contain gluten as well, so steer clear of this for all you meat loaf lovers, if you have to avoid gluten.

Been eating at charlies since I was a kid and it's just doesnt taste good anymore. Bought charlies for dinner tonight. Broccoli and rice casserole isn't like it used to be and the 1 thing that I've always loved cole slaw wasn't sweet at all! Really disappointed.

I have enjoyed Charlie's Chicken since it was first located on York. Life long customer, today I placed my order very clearly, paid in cash assumed I wouldn't need my receipt. As I pulled away I realized I didn't get my drink, got back inline for another 10 to 15 minutes. When I got to the window, I was questioned like a bank robber. Three girls crowed around the cash register looking for my order. Finally I was told I wasn't charged for a drink. If I had ordered one, I would have gotten it. No sorry, etc Plus it was just after 5 and they were out of dumplings, I was wondering why people were leaving after getting to the window. So they put a size up that said, Yes, we are really out of dumplings!!!! I am considering not going back to this location.

Some worker named Zack was friendly and my food was hot and fresh and he made the service really good
We have been eating at Charlie’s for over 35 years. In the last few years the food and service has turned horrible. The employees are more concerned about each other than the customers. We are done getting cold, old chunks when we pay for fresh hot ones. With Charlie not there as much, it’s absolutely NOT the same and it’s a shame no one will fill his shoes. If he knew how it was ran, he would be so disappointed. I hope the employees read this and will “grow up” some. Just a shame…….

Should have checked out the reviews before going there - would have saved some time! An extra charge to use a credit card? Food and service are not worth it - stay away. Would they charge to do the dishes? NO IT'S A COST OF DOING BUSINESS!
Do they charge to use napkins, salt or pepper? NO IT'S A COST OF DOING BUSINESS!
Do they charge to use toilet paper to wipe my a$$? NO IT'S A COST OF DOING BUSINESS!
BECAUSE THE GREEDY OWNER CAN'T NEOGIATE A BETTER CARD RATE THEY CHOOSE TO SCREW THE CUSTOMERS KEEPING THEM OPEN AND EVERYONE KNOWS THAT IT WOULD BE BUSINESS SUICIDE TO STOP ACCEPTING CARDS ALL TOGETHER. What's worse the Westside doesn't charge the additional fee!

I have had two instances where their Mac and cheese was expired. And I’ve called and told them. They just said “idk how to fix that”. I’ve gotten food poisoning twice. And I will never go here AGAIN!!!
