Took a suggestion from a coworker who used to live in Muskogee and he said he would come here when he was younger. This place did not disappoint!The waitresses were spot on and friendly. We were quickly seated and ordered our drinks. They were not much selections with regards to appetizers so I ordered fries & onion rings. 20240314T1240 - I arrived at the restaurant and made a to-go order at approximately 12:40. My order was handed to me within about 5 minutes. Bravo. I ordered a sliced brisket sandwich, a side of coleslaw, and a sweet tea. The total was $17.24. For lunch. But I digress. The sandwich had a decent amount of meat in it, the drink was 32 oz, but the coleslaw container is a 6 oz container and it was only filled up about 3/4 of the way. I think 3/5 stars is pretty fair for my experience. First, service was excellent. Cheryl does an amazing job at taking your order, taking your payment, and making sure you get your food on a timely matter. However, I think $22 (with credit card fee) for a chicken strip dinner is just a little too high. Chicken strips were VERY small in comparison to other restaurants.
