Love this place. The greens are off the chain excellent. Fried pork chops perfect. Fried fish is phenomenal. I don't eat candied yams but 3 of our party did and raved about them claiming they were like a dessert. Fried okra was perfect. Cabbage was full of flavor. I will say I tried a hush puppy. I'm not a cornbred fan, and these were a little too sweet for my personal preference.

Wow! Wow! Wow! What an amazing meal! Catfish, greens, yams, fried okra, banana pudding, bread pudding, and sweet potato pie. I am stuffed. Husband had fried chicken, greens, okra, and mashed potatoes. Everything is so well balanced, flavorful, and cooked to perfect temperature. Homemade from scratch and served with a smile. I feel sorry for the people that stopped at the commercial buffet next door - they missed out! We are planning another trip to the area to stop here to eat!...read full review
