Applebee's Grill + Bar

Just had 2 for $25 sizzling skillets, garlic steak and glazed chicken. Mmm-mm good. Heather was a great server too. This restaurant is not run down like the one on 3rd street in OKC.

My wife and I shared the 2 for $25 after her cancer treatment as a late lunch early dinner. We ordered the onion rings appetizer. They were hot fast and delicious. The meals on the other hand...
Her meal was the hot honey glazed chicken skillet, she loved her meal and my meal was the 6 oz sirloin with garlic mashed potatos.
I ordered my steak medium, it was overcooked, the garluc mashed potatos were bland.

Because I am diabetic my sugar wash dropping when we arrived I didnt push the issue, just ate my meal, however, we probably wont return.
Pretty disappointed.

My husband and I have gone twice to this location and we can’t even get anyone to seat us. We’ve walked out twice because no one was around and we stood at the entry for a while waiting on anyone to walk out of the back or from anywhere. My husband even walked to the back to see if he could find someone and couldn’t see anyone that wasn’t the dish washers in the back. So disappointing when I usually love Applebees.

The first I ordered from this place, the phone number didn't work, because they hadn't updated it on Google. The 2nd time I ordered there was after they had updated their number, I called 7 times, no answer. I thought maybe it wasn't working. I showed up in person to place a to-go order and as it turns out, the phone worked just fine, they heard it and just chose not to answer, but I placed an order anyway since I was there. They told me it would take about 15 minutes and I waited about 45 minutes, until the manager came out to the curbside to ask how long I had been waiting for. They had ready for awhile, but somehow forgot, even though it wasn't busy at all that night. When I placed a to-go order again last night, they said it would be ready in 12 minutes. I get there about 5 minutes later, wait in the parking lot unit it's about time pick it up, then head inside and it took an additional 20 something minutes, when there was hardly anyone there. They forgot my drink and I had to remind them. While I was waiting to pay, another server almost handed someone else's order.

Alcohol is back and new Bar Tender Mike is Great! My burger and fries were on point.

The chocolate lava cake is usually delicious, but this time, it was served cold! Very sad. Otherwise really good!

The kids and I came here after several days of being sick, out server was Mike. He was wonderful making sure we had everything we needed and more. He was very respectful and patient.

We had an excellent experience at Applebee's for lunch. Everything was great, from the service to the food.

We should have known to go elsewhere when there were only 3 cars there on a Saturday night. Their liquor license has been revoked, but that didn't affect us. The beer cheese was served cold, and when we asked for it to be hot, she came back and said they were microwaving it. Yuck.
The chicken sandwich was flavorless and the fries were warm, but stale. Nothing tasted fresh. Not hard to serve fresh, hot food. Especially when there were only a few other tables.

I would like to take the time to give a special shout out to Mike! Mike is an amazing server that is employed at the Applebee's in Mustang! My wife , daughters and I all enjoy to eat there. One of the specific reasons we choose the establishment in Mustang is due to our favorite waiter Mike. Mike displays all of the great characteristics of a great server. Mike ty very much for your service and friendly conversation. I highly recommend this restaurant and if you get the chance go in and request Mike as your server! Merry Christmas!
