“I've stopped here several times on my way to Norman from Ada. The service is always polite and friendly. The donuts and related pastries are always perfect and consistent. This place reminds me of Yummy Donuts in Shawnee. It is also ran by an Asian family and the products taste very similar. The apple fritters are crip and thin and not doughy. I have not tried any of their breakfast sandwiches but I expect similar quality there too. Kinda hard to get into from the south but from the north it is easy access. Have a drive thru on the north side if you are so inclined, but I suggest going inside to mull over the huge selection.....“
“If you want the best yeast or cake donuts ever you need to stop in to the Gourmet Donut Shop on 518 Porter Ave Norman Ok. You will not be disappointed trust me. There are a lot of donut shops in Norman but you wont find a better donut because they use the best ingredients money can buy and they are always FRESH!!Note the glazed are awesome and if you like a little maple coating get some of those. She goes out of her way to make sure they are exactly what you want. My kids are 6,4, and 2 so can be crazy and they r so sweet -welcome them and always make them feel special every time we come in. I will no longer be a customer due to the taking of fees that are not clearly posted. You should have just adjusted your prices instead of adding a fee that I had no knowledge of until I asked for my receipt. “This is THE family donut place in the area. Run by the most adorable older couple, they consistently make the best donuts in the area. And let's not even get started on the BEC croissant sandwiches. Fresh croissant, crisp fresh bacon, and a real cooked egg all for $4.99. You are not going to get a better breakfast sandwich in the area for this price period the end. Reasonable prices, especially considering how high quality these donuts taste. They don't have the new fangled donuts with tons of cereal heaped on top and that is the best part. They make some newer styles that are really good, but they absolutely nail the classics every time, with a taste like its 1986 all over again and companies haven't figured out how to poison you from every angle.
